Advanced statistical analysis program
1/5
IBM SPSS is a statistics software that provides advanced predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and text analysis for researchers, survey companies, data miners and government agencies. It is capable of integrating and deploying information to data processing applications for research projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. These allow organizations to address research problems, improve their efficiency, minimize risk, and predict outcomes. The SPSS software includes the SPSS Statistics and SPSS Modeler. The former test hypotheses while the latter generates hypotheses. All the said functions are available in IBM SPSS for Windows, which is compatible with all Windows devices running Windows XP or higher.
Easy-to-use data analysis tool
IBM SPSS is targeted towards professionals in the field of Social Science, Statistics and Data Analytics but advanced users can simply use it to manage various figures and cases. This includes case selection, file reshaping, deriving data, and creating a metadata dictionary. The features of SPSS are presented in pull-down menus by default, but it can be programmed with 4GL command syntax language. The CSL simplifies the repetitiveness of consolidating information. You can also add a macro language to write command language subroutines.
The user interface of SPSS offers two displays, both of which can be toggled. Two tabs are displayed on the bottom left of the window, one labeled Data View and the other Variable View. Data view is similar to a spreadsheet while the Variable view displays all the factors of each data point in a metadata dictionary. All these features are displayed in a plain and organized interface, making this a suitable tool for all users in need of a statistical programming language for managing information and creating decision trees.
