You may need to set up Google Earth Plugin in your Google account if you don’t have one yet. You can open the Google Earth version in your web browser and it will automatically detect your current setup and will ask you to sign-in with your Google account if you don’t have one yet. Once you have signed-in, you may need to create a new local area. This is done by clicking on “New” and then “Map” tab and then choose your desired options from the drop-down list.
